I was a troubled kid...once upon a time. Really troubled. I was the last person anyone ever thought would join the military...but I did. I was an Aviation Ordnancemen in the United States Navy. I was stationed in San Diego aboard an aircraft carrier USS NIMITZ CVN 68. It was there where I met my husband. My brother-in-law is an Army Officer and my other brother-in-law is currently serving in the US NAVY. My little sister is a MP (Military Police) in the the US Air Force, and just recently came home after being deployed to Kuwait. And last but not least my little-sister-in-law will be enlisting the Marine Corps.

I know first hand how hard it is to be away from your husband, sister, brother, father, mother, or even cousin! I want to honor all miliary families! My husband was deployed to the Gulf when I was pregnant with my first son. We were not sure if he would make it back in time to see his son born. Thankfully, I went into labor the very next day after his return! So.......
